Patent Agent

Joseph has more than 30 years of experience in intellectual property.  He was very familiar with U.S. patent law and examination practices and has very extensive experience in US patent works, from drafting, responding to office action to requesting re-examination, as well as divisional application, continuation application, and continuation in part application,  Joseph made hundreds of telephone interviews with the U.S. patent examiners for successfully putting the cases in condition for allowance.  He also dealt with US patent litigations so as to have capability of analyzing for the client from an in-house viewpoint when the IP dispute occurs. Joseph is a sole inventor, and has owned a number of U.S. patents.
Before joining PVIP, he was an IP Director at Foxconn Group and a patent engineer in Saint Island Patent and Trademark Office in Taiwan.
